Systems Administrator (Team Lead)

Roles and Responsibilities:
Server Operations Management
- Administer all server hardware and software systems within the center
- Ensure that change management procedures are followed at all times
- Perform regular server hardware/software maintenance and upgrades
Performance Management
- Ensure that server hardware and software performance meet service level targets
- Evaluate and implement server performance monitoring tools
- Preparation all necessary server hardware and software reports and document all server related management procedures
Problem Management
- Ensure efficient and timely resolution (isolation and analysis, management and coordination, 3rd party escalation …etc.) of server problems and outages
- Coordinate with internal and external vendors and clients following the documented escalation processes
- Serve as 1st level support for server problems and 2nd level support for helpdesk issues
System Back-up and recovery management
- Prepare business impact analysis
- Design and implement back-up recovery plans and procedures
Resource Planning and Management
- Monitor and generate reports of current systems utilization

Design, create and prepare graphic files suitable for output in multimedia, web and video.

Check accuracy and correctness of one’s own work and validate team member’s output to produce accurate and high quality of work according to the standards of this position.

Acts as the head of IT for managing the local IT Team in Manila. Duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time which may include the following:
- Managing IT services and hardware in the Philippine facility.

Database Administration
- Administer all database within the center.

Education/Experience
- College graduate of any IT or related courses.
- At least 1 year experience in an IT Manager capacity, handling an IT team of a medium to large enterprise.
- At least three years of hands-on systems administration experience in handling a Windows Enterprise Environment.
- At least two years of hands-on network administration experience in handling CISCO networking equipment.
- At least two years of hands on database administration experience preferably in an MS-SQL environment.
- Experience with Apple computers preferred but not required.
- Project management experience in rolling out a major IT project is an advantage.
- Willing to work on shift schedule basis including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent written and oral English communications skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and must be a team player.
- Strong work ethics and a self-starter.
