In Manila, Affinity Express has a staff of more than 350 employees in a state-of-the-art space at UP Ayala Land TechnoHub. The offices are located on a campus with 19 restaurants, coffee shops, banks and other stores. IT and BPO companies occupy the other buildings. Our facility includes training and conference rooms and a large staff pantry space. Affinity Express offers meal service from local food providers and subsidizes employee transportation.
On-the-Job Training
To assist students in gaining the skills and experience they need to enter a graphic design career, Affinity Express has partnered with the Far Eastern University and the CIIT College of Arts & Technology in Manila to establish on-the-job training. The approved curriculum was added to the universities’ programs for multimedia, digital arts or fine arts and students’ performance at Affinity Express are part of their graduating requirements.
Trainees complete the last ten to 12 weeks of their final semester at the Affinity Express Manila offices learning:
Upon successful completion of the program, employment may be offered to trainees.

You are a wordsmith who lives for the written word but is still keenly aware of production and deadlines. You are comfortable working in web and print environments and are experienced in InDesign and InCopy.
The senior editor is responsible for editing stories and articles, headlines, captions and columns according to publication requirements. He/she leads the editorial team in refining service levels, improving total subject matter expertise, and ensuring high output quality. This position will be part of the team to provide high-quality production for major U.S. and Canadian newspaper companies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The website designer for marketing will work with the Affinity Express Marketing Team to design and make improvements to the company website as well as other sites managed by Marketing. The website designer will also help on other design projects including email campaigns, landing pages, social media projects, ads, or anything else that may be assigned.
The successful candidate will be capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines, detail-oriented and capable of making marketing design recommendations.
Perform technical quality checks/validations on all jobs queued in prior delivery. Handle escalated jobs from the team/floor to resolve and meet client expectations regarding any type, category or complexity of the job assigned prior delivery. Handle job assignments as needed, as senior designers are well skilled to perform and process the same job tasks as any graphic designers on the team.
Coordinates and implements new web development, maintenance, modification and enhancement. Negotiates system architectural needs, analyzes system and business requirements, estimates scope and develops project plans from written specifications. Collaborates with user departments and other technology teams to implement work requests and support production systems.
Basic Function:

Produce visual solutions to the communication needs of client across print and electronic media using variety of methods such as color, type, illustration, photography, animation and various print and layout techniques in the most effective way.
