This
position provides ad creation/graphic design support for
multi-million dollar accounts.
Responsibilities:
Use Quark, InDesign and other Adobe applications to quickly, accurately and efficiently produce direct mail ads
Distill low-resolution PDFs for upload to an online proofing tool
Proof ads for both content (spelling, following instructions, etc.) and ad quality (image resolution quality, four-color/black, etc.) before uploading to an online proofing tool
Compare output ads to style guide specs and make sure all are accounted for in ads
Update status reports with progress
Follow naming conventions and organize native files and PDFs in accordance with clients' existing organizational structures
Upload native file packages to other Affinity Express production facilities
Education/Experience:
Strong knowledge and experience in design software, including Quark, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop required
Background in the commercial print and/or ad creation industries
Associate of arts or bachelor of arts in marketing or graphic design
History of providing superior customer support
High design standards and the skills to translate them to other employees
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and by telephone
Self-motivated, well-organized and self-managed personality
Strong time management and prioritizing skills with the flexibility to recalibrate quickly according to changing requirements
A team approach to completing projects and problem-solving

This
position provides ongoing support to the production
artists, operations manager and client coordinators.
Based on knowledge of graphic arts, the print
trafficker/coordinator organizes and supplies the
company's production team, on-site production artists and
operations manager with the input (hard-copy documents,
faxes, e-mails, native files, images, etc.) needed to
produce high-quality ads. In addition, the print
trafficker/coordinator will be responsible for
interfacing with our client, addressing client issues,
researching problems and responding to our client with
the information needed for resolution.
