Project Manager
The enterprise group is responsible for designing and producing marketing collateral and publications for large corporations and their subsidiaries. It also designs and produces graphics for print and online use.
The project manager will ensure work done by the team is delivered on time, within budget and at the quality level required.
Position Responsibilities and Essential Duties: (other duties may be assigned)
- Manage the production of graphic files for output in print, Web or multimedia presentations through collaboration with managers, team leaders, designers and developers.
- Display knowledge of print, Web, presentation and multimedia terminologies and technologies.
- Understand project requirements and seek clarification when such requirements are not clear.
- Understand the corporate branding guidelines required by a job or project.
- Have a good appreciation of concepts, designs, copy and rationalization; review team submissions from the client’s perspective.
- Manage production timelines for meeting tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Provide clients with reasonable time estimates when asked to do so.
- Negotiate well for time extensions and/or additional charges for change requests as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients at all stages of production.
- Review team submissions against project briefs.
- Ensure files are properly named, formatted, and delivered.
- Ensure any information or reports required are accomplished accurately, completely and on time.
- Willing to work on a shifting basis and extra hours when necessary to meet deadlines.
- Willingly accomplish any task assigned when necessary or in the interests of the business.
Education/Experience:
- College degree is required.
- At least five years of experience gained from a design agency, publishing company or multimedia BPO, preferably within the last eight years and two years of which were in a supervisory or project coordination capacity.
- Skilled in the use of MS Office.
- Sufficiently familiar with design and development terminologies and technologies to be able to scope and give time estimates for projects.
- Experience managing the design and production of collateral and graphics for print or online use preferably by large international corporations.
- Good written and oral English communication skills (Level 9 on a scale from 1 to 10).
- Meticulous and analytical, with a high sense of quality and professionalism.
- Design, development or writing skills and experience is a bonus.
