The Affinity Express service bureau solution is the complete ad tracking, workflow and component manager for all ad files and elements. Our system manages all material online to facilitate distribution of proofs, annotations and changes, pickups and revisions. All material is available online via a web browser to any user with authorization, including sales, production and newspaper clients.

| Affinity Express uses Adobe InDesign as the default applications for design. However, several clients are using QuarkXPress. We support MultiAd Creator and over 30 different software applications for our advertising and document creation clients.

| Affinity Express provides standard service level agreements and queues within our hosted service bureau solution. Depending on the type of ad, we have one-hour, three-hour and overnight response times. On an exception basis, we provide for quicker turn work—in as little as 30 minutes. For one client, we provide 100% of the work in less than four hours and the typical rush ads in two hours (about 50% of the daily volume).

Affinity Express has a quality control process in which all production is followed by quality check. A specialized team checks the work done by designers. Feedback is given on a day-to-day basis. These details are recorded and used for performance management metrics. This team also analyzes external feedback and initiates corrective and preventive actions. Our quality management system runs on the half-life improvement method and the continuous improvement strategy involves refresher training and individualized plans.
Furthermore, we create standard operating procedures for each process and these documents are approved in advance by clients. This enables us to better understand expectations and to mirror client processes at our facility.
To move toward greater process efficiency and away from people dependency, we created a shared site where all the client-specific details are stored along with updates and feedback. This allows associates to refer to documents if their trainers or supervisors are not available on the floor to provide direction.
